IDEAS ARE ASSETS

Ideas Are Assets

QIP® Vortex is an idea timestamping and cryptographic certification system. Upload any creative work — a document, an image, audio, video, or code — and the platform generates a permanent certificate proving what was created, who created it, and the exact moment it was recorded. The proof is mathematical: a deterministic 64-character hash derived from the structural properties of your work. The same file always produces the same hash. Any alteration produces a different one. The certificate is immutable once issued.

01

How It Works

Two paths to the same certificate. Both produce an identical cryptographic record.

Path A — Website

Upload & Certify

Enter creator information. A title for your work, a description, and choose whether the certificate will be public or private. This choice is permanent — once set, it cannot be changed.

Upload your file. The engine analyses its content, detects its format, extracts structural signals, normalises them to a fixed mathematical shape, and produces your unique 64-character QIP hash along with a full set of metrics. The file itself is not permanently retained — only the mathematical record persists.

Review and certify. See your two-page certificate preview — the hash, your IDEA metrics, your QIPIDEA Index, and your legal position under international IP law. Confirm, pay one credit (£0.09), and download your certificate. The PDF is generated before any payment is taken. A refresh or retry never charges twice for the same work.

Path B — Email

BCC & Receive

If you have a registered QIP® Vortex account, add to the BCC field of any email you send — or email it directly with your file attached. The system identifies you by your registered email address, analyses the attachment, generates the certificate, and replies with the PDF. Your recipient never sees the BCC. No browser required.

Your first 9 certifications by email are free — website certifications charge from the first one. After the 9, the system charges one credit per certificate from your wallet — or one coin if you are a subscriber with zero credits remaining.

02

The Certificate

A two-page PDF. One permanent record. This is what you receive:

Your Bind
The complete 64-character QIP hash. Your work's mathematical fingerprint. Deterministic: the same file always produces the same hash. Tamper-evident: any alteration produces a different hash.
Bound
The precise UTC timestamp of certification — day, month, year, hour, minute, second, and millisecond.
What Was Bound
Your title and description, permanently recorded as the identity of this creation.
IDEA Units
A quantified structural measurement computed from the content's own measurable properties. Derived from the work itself, not from opinion.
QIPIDEA Index
A composite quality score drawn from the energy profile of the eight hash components.
Creator
Your name, permanently linked to this certificate by your immutable user identity. Ownership is keyed to your account — not your email address — and cannot be transferred or disputed by email reuse.
Legal Position
A formal statement establishing this certificate as evidence of prior creation under the Berne Convention, the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and applicable international intellectual property law.
Bind Number
Your certificate's sequential position in the global register. Format: QIP-BIND-YYYY-N. Issued from an atomic sequence — no two certificates can ever share a number.
Verification
A QR code and URL allowing anyone to authenticate this certificate at any time by re-uploading the original file.

Once issued, a certificate is frozen. The same creator submitting the same file receives the same stored certificate — the system never re-charges and never re-issues. The public or private designation is locked at creation by a database trigger and cannot be reversed.

What Makes This Different

Deterministic.
The hash is a pure function of content. No randomness, no timestamps, no external state enters the computation. The same file produces the same 64-character hash every time, on any machine, under any conditions. This is provable by anyone with the original file.
Tamper-evident.
Any modification to the original work — a single byte changed, a pixel shifted, a character added — cascades through the entire hash. The certificate proves the exact content that existed at the exact moment of certification.
Immutable.
Once a certificate is generated, it cannot be edited, reissued, or revoked. The PDF bytes are stored as-is. The bind number is write-once. The public/private choice is enforced by a database trigger that prevents any change after creation. Immutability is architectural, not policy.
Idempotent.
Every payment is guarded by a unique constraint on your account and hash. A double-click, a page refresh, or a network retry cannot charge you twice for the same work. If the same creator submits the same file, the system returns the existing certificate without generating a new one and without taking payment.
Self-verifying.
Anyone can verify a certificate by uploading the file to the Verify page. The system re-analyses it, computes the hash, and checks the registry. If a match exists, it confirms the originator and the certification date. No intermediary required.
Format-agnostic.
Text, documents, PDFs, images, audio, video, code — the engine accepts them all. Each format routes to a specialised analyser, then everything normalises to the same mathematical shape before hashing. The output is always a 64-character hash regardless of input type.
04

Verification

Upload any file to the Verify page. The system re-analyses it — running the same engine, the same normalisation, the same hash computation — and compares the result against the certificate registry. If a match exists, you see who certified it and when. If no match exists, that file has never been certified on this platform.

Verification never creates a certificate. It never charges.

Verification is always free

Pricing

£0.09
per certification
Each certification costs one QIP credit. Credits are purchased via the Wallet in bundles of 4 or more. All accounts share the same credit wallet and pay the same per-certification price. Your first 9 certifications by email are free; website certifications charge from the first one.
Subscription
£36.90 / month
A subscription grants a permanent spiral seat, eligibility to earn QIP coins at natural still points, and cascade discounts from neighbouring subscribers. Coins substitute for credits — each coin covers one £0.09 certification. The system trends toward net-zero cost over time as coins and discounts accumulate.
